How often do you poll my website?
By default we poll your site every 60 seconds using a HTTP HEAD request. You can change the interval and the HTTP method in the advanced section.
Where do you poll my website from?
At the moment we have 3 polling servers: Miami, California and London. We intend to add more soon. You can see the locations of the servers on the Global visualisation map.
What User-Agent header do you use?
Our user agent header is: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; NimbuBot/0.1; +http://nimbu.net/)"
How much does nimbu cost to use?
At the moment nimbu is free to use with a limit of 3 websites. In future there will be plans to make nimbu a fee-based service. We plan to allow users to have one website monitored for free and further websites will be subscription-based. SMS costs will be charged for in bundles in the near future.
